My inspiration for watercolours originated from buying a watercolour painting from a market in St. Tropez, southern France.

 

The simple ink and wash painting used vibrant colours that portrayed the azure blue sky and petanque being played in the market square (see picture).

Several years ago after prompting from my wonderful wife, I started my journey to discover the exciting world of watercolour painting.

​

This provides me with a rewarding hobby that has endless boundaries and stimulates mindfulness and wellbeing.
